Title: Publishing Our Passion: The Story Behind the Publication of Student-led Science Research

Description:A research team including Dr. Chris Schaben recently published in the Science Educator journal. During this webinar Dr. Schaben will discuss the process of moving from gathering research to publication through the story of his recent publication in the Science Educator. Thus, he will be building on Dr. Robert Thai’s webinar: Sharing What You Know: How to Publish Your Research in the Science Educator (Oct. 2021, NSELA Webinar). Dr. Schaben will provide a behind the scenes tour of the published study, which is about his passion for understanding student opportunities to complete science research. He will reveal lessons learned about publishing as a non-university-based leader in science education.
